COLE DAVIS JOINS MICHAEL GARRISON ON SPEEDSTUDIO P/B BASSO FOR THE 2026 SEASON
Two of America’s most versatile cycling talents reunite to redefine what professional racing can be.
ATLANTA, GA — November 17, 2025 — SpeedStudio, the creative design studio built for endurance sport, announced today that Cole Davis has joined its 2026 roster to race alongside Michael Garrison under the banner +SpeedStudio p/b Basso.
Together, Davis and Garrison represent two of the most dynamic and diverse riders in American cycling, capable across criterium, road, mountain bike, and gravel disciplines. They join forces inside a program that blends elite performance with creative production. Their combined racing pedigree positions SpeedStudio as a powerhouse in U.S. criteriums, select road races, and all forms of dirt.
A California native and former Hagens Berman Axeon rider, Davis brings international experience and proven success across road, criterium, and gravel racing. His addition means SpeedStudio p/b Basso now features two of the three 2025 Gravel Nationals podium finishers. The 2025 Rad Gravel Champion is equally proficient on the road, with stage wins at Redland and Sea Otter Classic in 2024. On the criterium circuit, both Davis and Garrison have taken wins at USA Crits and will form one of the most formidable duos in American racing, combining raw power, tactical intelligence, and a finishing kick of equal measure.
“We believe the American cycling model needs a redesign and that’s what SpeedStudio is doing,” said Nikki Strickland, Co-Founder of SpeedStudio. “We treat racing as a creative platform, not a sponsorship line item. Cole represents the kind of athlete this new model is built for: he can perform across disciplines, as well as complement Michael in our storytelling strategy.”
The 2026 Enhanced Calendar expands SpeedStudio’s reach to the international stage, with planned appearances at Santa Vall (Spain), The Traka (Spain), VIA Crit (London), and ZuriCrit (Zurich), alongside cornerstone U.S. events such as Sea Otter, Tulsa Tough, US Pro Road Championships, and Big Sugar Gravel. The 2026 strategy is simple: go where the attention is — the intersection of competition, culture, and creativity.
The partnership with Basso Bikes deepens as part of this announcement, reinforcing a shared commitment to design, performance, and innovation. The Italian brand has extended its investment in SpeedStudio to support the expanded roster and global footprint.
“SpeedStudio is rethinking what it means to be a professional cycling organization,” said Alessandro Basso, CEO of Basso Bikes. “They’re building something that merges culture and competition. Their racing style inspires creativity, and that creativity attracts new fans to cycling. For us, that’s exactly the kind of energy the sport needs.”
For SpeedStudio, racing is only part of the equation. Every athlete is a creative collaborator, adding value to their partners beyond just a logo on the jersey. Every race, ride, and story that follows is a moment to make the sport more culturally relevant to a wider audience.
